About the iPhone 16 Pro Max case
The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a large square three-lens camera in the top-left corner. On the case, the opening reaches about 4.3 cm down from the top edge. Keep faces, names and dates below that line, roughly the lower 75% of the back, and let background such as sky or a pattern run behind the camera.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max measures 163.0 × 77.6 × 8.25 mm (6.42 × 3.06 × 0.32 in). In our Tough case it comes to about 165.0 × 79.6 × 9.75 mm, so it still fits a standard pocket, car mount or stand.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max is a different size or camera layout from the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16e, so their cases are not interchangeable. To check your exact model, open Settings > General > About on the phone.
