By John Mason, Ink Cabin
A custom Galaxy A57 case, or a Galaxy A37 case with your photo, starts with your own picture or artwork. Choose your exact phone in the browser designer, upload the image, move it clear of the camera island, and check the live preview before you add it to your basket. Both phones are available in our Tough case for 24.99 EUR, printed to order with no account or minimum order.
What a Galaxy A Tough case looks like with artwork on it

The image shows the Tough style, the same two-piece bumper-and-back construction you order for the Galaxy A57 or A37, on a phone with a vertical camera island at the top left. It is an illustrative mockup of a sample design, so use it for the look of a full-back print, not as an exact picture of your model.
For your exact model, the designer shows the camera opening over your own photo before you pay.
Which Galaxy A57 case or A37 case do you need?
Samsung presented the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 together in March 2026 as the successors to the A56 and A36. The names are close and the backs look alike, but the two phones are not the same size, so their cases are not interchangeable. The same applies to last year's models: a case made for the A56 is not made for the A57, and an A36 case is not made for the A37.
Before you design, open Settings, then About phone, and read the model name. Then pick that exact name in the designer:
- Open the designer with the A57 selected - Open the designer with the A37 selected
If you own an A56 or A36, those models are in the same designer list under Samsung.
Designing around the Galaxy A57 and A37 camera island

Both phones carry their cameras in a vertical island at the top left of the back. On the case this becomes a tall opening along the left side of the top third, and anything placed there is cut away.
That shape leaves the right half of the upper back free, which is useful. A short word, a small date or the sky of a landscape can sit beside the island instead of under it. Keep faces, names and anything you would miss below the bottom of the island or clearly to its right.
The case back is a tall portrait area, roughly twice as high as it is wide. A landscape photo will lose some of its left and right edges when it fills that space, so a vertical photo usually gives you more room to adjust. For a portrait, place the face in the middle or lower half of the case rather than at the top, where it would meet the camera island.
The designer shows the camera opening over your image while you work, and you can drag and zoom the photo until everything important is clear of it.
Photos that work on a Galaxy A57 or A37 case
Use the original file from your camera roll rather than a screenshot or a picture saved from a messaging app. Those copies are often smaller than the original, and screenshots can carry interface icons into the print.
Pictures with one clear subject and some background around it are the easiest to place. A tight group photo leaves little room to move, because every face has to clear the camera island at once. If you want several photos on one case, our collage maker arranges them into one image that you can then bring into the designer.
Lighting matters more on a printed case than on a bright screen. A well-lit photo with clear contrast between the subject and the background keeps faces and textures readable; a dark, murky photo tends to print darker than it looks on your phone.
Adding a name or date
You can add a line of text in the designer and move it separately from the photo. On these two phones there are two good places for it: across the lower part of the case, or on the right side of the top third beside the camera island. Light lettering needs a dark, quiet area behind it, and dark lettering needs a light one. Check the text at the size shown in the preview, not only on the full-size photo.
Design your Galaxy A case step by step
- Open the designer with your phone selected: Galaxy A57 or Galaxy A37.
- Upload your original photo or artwork.
- Drag and zoom until faces and details are clear of the camera island.
- Add optional text and place it over a quiet part of the image.
- Check the live preview: every face, every word and all four edges.
- Add the finished design to your basket.

What the Tough case is
The Tough case is a two-piece protective case: a bumper around the phone and a hard back that carries your print. It is the style we offer for the Galaxy A57 and A37. If you are comparing styles in general, our guide to Snap, Tough and Clear cases explains the differences.
Each case costs 24.99 EUR and is printed after payment. Orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours, and standard Economy delivery is free to Europe, the UK and the United States, typically taking 2 to 10 days depending on destination.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Choosing the A56 or A36 because the phone looks the same. Read the model name in Settings first. - Placing a face or a name at the top left, where the camera island cuts it away. - Uploading a screenshot or a messaging-app copy instead of the original photo. - Putting text over a busy part of the photo where it cannot be read. - Adding to the basket without checking the live preview on your exact model.
Frequently asked questions
Will a Galaxy A56 case fit my Galaxy A57?
No. The A57 and A56 are different sizes, and our cases are made for one exact model. Choose Galaxy A57 in the designer so the preview and the case match your phone.
Are the Galaxy A57 and A37 cases the same?
No. The two phones were launched together and look alike, but their sizes differ. Check the model name under Settings, then About phone, and pick that model in the designer.
Is there a MagSafe or clear version for the Galaxy A57 or A37?
Not at the moment. Both phones are available in the Tough case, with a bumper and a hard printed back. The designer always lists the styles currently available for each model.
Where should I put a face on a Galaxy A57 or A37 case?
In the middle or lower half of the case, or on the right side if the photo is wide. The camera island sits at the top left, so keep faces and text away from it and check the preview before you order.
What if my case arrives damaged or misprinted?
Personalized items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges, except where required by law. Damaged, misprinted, incorrect or missing items are replaced or refunded at no extra cost when reported within 30 days of the order.
